A brand new coffee shop in an area that needs it. Friendly staff, with a wide range of coffees and some pastries. The bay windows, facing north west and provide a view of Wilshire Boulevard in what is a modernly-designed place to work all day on your laptop or meet for a quick bite.

The food and the coffee were great. Shout out to Humberto the barista for offering some great insights on the menu, and sharing some recommendations on what’s the fan favors. Clean facilities, great seating too with some nice outdoor tables. Would recommend!

Stopped in for a coffee early this Friday am. Service is always amazing but the guy (he was wearing a blue hat and I should’ve asked his name) working seriously was so kind and one of the best lattes I’ve had. He was taking orders, fulfilling the orders and helping customers with questions… doing beyond! This place is a TREAT for this area!!

We had an amazing first visit to Black Canvas Coffee, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience! Allie went above and beyond to take care of all our needs, making us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in. The coffee was fantastic, the atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and Allie’s friendly service truly made it a memorable stop. Highly recommend this gem—can’t wait to come back!

I love the coffee here. Familiar tastes with twists. Very innovative with their flavors. The rainbow avocado toast is nothing like you ever tried before, highly recommend it. If you like sweets go with the waffles.

I am an avid matcha drinker and this is by far the best matcha I have ever had. The rose water recipe is incredible!!

recently discovered this incredible coffee shop near our new office, and I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. Despite it being a bit crowded, the friendly service made it all worthwhile. As soon as a table became available inside, the person behind the counter promptly cleaned it and even invited me to come inside, it’s like she knew it’s what I preferred.
